Eggless Cinnamon Carrot Cake

Eggless Carrot Cake Recipe-

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar-i used normal white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup finely grated carrot
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
1 tablespoon vinegar- omitted
70 gram walnut- added
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mix the dry ingredients and spices until well blended.
Add grated carrots. Stir until thoroughly blended.
Add wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
Bake in preheated oven for about 30 to 45 minutes, or
until toothpick inserted comes out clean. I used 9 inch baking mould.

Bollywood Nite at Dublin

Today we had a Rocking Bollywood Night!!... the first attempt in Dublin for such an event. From Indians to Firangs all were gone crazy in the show the program started with a Turkish Belly Dance. Though I missed those initial moments but here a sample of the same from YouTube [sample], probably the reason was the grab the audience's attention and bring in the crowd.... The moment crowd arrived than the DJ Glady and team made people dance on their tunes. Bhangrapop is a perennial feature of Indipop The live Bhagda just mesmerized the people …. with amazing bhangda moves and bhagda beats….. It was worth viewing.

Visit to Seattle for Meeting

Reached Seattle on Friday the 15th June 2007. Meet a good looking girl in flight unmarried with a baby whom she left with her parents to watch a concernt in Seattle with new boy friend, things looks funny some times when you lok from indian perspective but its usual out here.

Anyways Lubhit (thats what i call myself) reached to Seattle and went straight to hotel where his sis was staying and had a great Saturday starting early morning with site seeing with Kush (sis's elder son) and tough time carrying Kavish (didi ke chotte nawab). Watched Space Needle and loking to the health jiju planned for a workout by cycling around the region which was another fun.

Went to Washington Lake on Sunday and keep working.

Monday went to Microsoft Seattle Sammaish Campus for meeting on Architectures though knew not even basics of technology but still Boss ka hukum tha so chal diye..... ideas dene... free me.... Discussion continued on tuesday as well and immediately after meeting left for Fargo back from Seattle. On the way presented Prototype from Minneapolis to few client people at airport took comments and gave it to UI Dev team by EOD of CST.

After all work if no play than Lubhit get bored so for masti, I meet / spoke to Airhostess in the Minnepolis to Fargo flight. Small flight almost vacant guys trust me nothing happened as people would expect. Interacted a little in flight and than we meet again in the cab as we both had same cab to hotel. By luck she stayed in the same hotel where i got the room. Spoke to her about marriage, her boy friend, work life and than again we meet in morning for breakfast. The lady left for her next flight and I left for office..... work continues their after.....

EAS Quaterly Awards Q1 2007-08

Travelled back from Fargo on 19th July 2007. Meet on the way a beautiful girl doing Medical from Moorhead (place in Fargo). Travelled via Fargo - Minneapolis - Amsterdam - Mumbai (finally). Meet another old lady travelling from Minnepolis - Paris via Amterdam. Lady was Functional Consultants by profession from Finance domain, working in Ingersoll Rand.

Bought another ticket to fly back to ahmedabad through Turkish Airways (flight with broken seats). Finally reached home via. car where mom came down to pick me at A'bad airport. Journey way back home or relishing. Enjoyed complete 3 days (2.5 days as per mom) stay at home till i left on sunday evening 1700 from Surendranagar to Mumbai on my way to catch flight from Mumbai to Hyderabad.

No flights being avaliable at Mumbai airport for Hyderabad at pretty decent price. Only option i had was Indian Airlines (executive class) costing Rs. 5200 and Jet Airways (Economy class) costing Rs. 8535. Here guys we see our Indian Smart Managers don't think the benefit for the company but they prefer to follow blindly the Policy guidlines. My manager was not any different, i was also forced to buy the Jet ticket as it was for Economy class and i ended up spending excess money of Azim Uncle. I sympathise with Premji for having such managers who don't want to argue against the policies. Policies needs to change with time and some times managers too need to get changed.

Reached back to Hyderabad, came down to guesthouse and reached office in another 1 hours. Some people happy some people shocked to see me coming to office in 1 hours after landing to hyderabad. But thats the way i am and i work. Our new Release 2 PM always complains me that i don't work and i happy accept it as to me it hardly matters what people say, i prefer to work my way and complete the task i need to for the project than for an individual.

Than worked for day till late night from both Wipro and Microsoft campus in first week and than came the first weekend in hyderabad, all alone with no friends or people who will be avaliable to meet. Work continued for second whole week & travelled back to bangalore.

Dad and mom to visited the place to lookout for a house correctly stating a apartment as am not as rich to afford a house in Bangalore. Saw many locations almost daddy got clear idea about the locations i am looking at for the accomodation. All the parameters to search always included ** to be wife** and even **childrens**. God only know how can daddy and mom can think of such a futuristic state of life...anyways we looked out for house close to work areas, and childrens schools, place to work for womens and city area as well. Best thing was even after having so many parameters we could manage to filter down the options / area. On monday dadddy left back for home (DHG- dharangadhra) and i left for hyderabad for work.

Work continues as usual involving Funtional Specs, clarification sessions, Knowledge Transfer to other team members etc. Every night same calls from home asking me to travel to rajasthan to facilitate matrimonial iccccceeeehhhhhhhhhhh activity of parents and relatives. I am totally afraid of this tasks. Though, I have thought many times who would be the correct wife for an idiot like me but could not think much ahead. :-) Some where i think i know the person but could not recognize who would be the one who will be right fit for me. Some time i am afriad thinking what if some thing goes wrong somewhere in my choice and mummy might kill me !!!. Lots of thoughts do come down about what / if / how / who/ when..... !!!! all confusion. Would be happy to marry one whom i know but also am afriad of things which might go wrong. Can some one like a person whom he had meet 2 times in life time...i doubt... but i agree.................

Hey news update here: got EAS Award for the 2007-08 Q1 in Wipro and called out as BOND. College days name was assigned back to me.
